Prostate specific membrane antigens (PSMA) are overexpressed in prostate cancer cells, making them an ideal target for therapies such as targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT). Despite the recent FDA approval of 177Lu-PSMA-617 as a treatment option for PSMA-positive metastatic castration resistant patients, the impact on the tumor immune microenvironment still needs further understanding. Daeun's research aims to study the effects of PSMA targeting radionuclide on the tumor microenvironment and explore its potential combination with other immunotherapies.
