BS: Palm Beach Atlantic University (2022, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology)

MS: University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (2024, Cellular and Molecular Biology)

Kaitlyn is originally from Fort Atkinson, WI and completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2022. She then pursued a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology at UW- La Crosse, graduating in 2024. Her thesis examined the molecular mechanisms of exercise and its effects on triple negative breast cancer. After the completion of her Master's degree, Kaitlyn moved to Madison to begin her PhD in the Cancer Biology Graduate Program at UW-Madison. She joined the McNeel lab in December of 2024, beginning a project that utilizes different types of androgen deprivation in combination with an AR-specific DNA vaccine and immune checkpoint blockade to treat prostate cancer.
