Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) is the cornerstone treatment for local and advanced stages of prostate cancer and is considered as an immune modulating therapy. Although a majority of patients initially respond to ADT, almost all patients progress to castration resistance in part due to the presence of immunosuppressive populations in the tumor microenvironment. Anusha's research aims to test the anti-tumor efficacy and identify the optimal timing and scheduling of ADT with other immune modulating therapies in combination to effectively treat advanced prostate cancer.
